We’ve got a fun and engaging afternoon planned for your children!

Ilyas understands the importance of giving Zakat. But Duck is too concerned about parting with his money. Will Ilyas succeed in convincing Duck why giving money to the poor and needy is necessary

It is important we instill the importance of Ramadan in our children but also to teach them about Zakat and giving.

Join us with the writer of Ilyas and Duck, Omar Khawaja as he reads Zakat Tales live! Story time will be followed by a creative and interactive craft session with Aqsa from Litte Muslim Child of Mine!

About Omar Khawaja:

Omar is a Muslim American born in the Middle East with family roots in Pakistan.  Omar grew up in New York and started writing children’s books in Washington D.C where he currently lives with his wife, three kids, and lots of noise around the house.

My hope is that young kids and adults everywhere will benefit greatly from the many adventures and heartfelt stories Ilyas & Duck have yet to share.
