At National Zakat Foundation, we assist Canadian Muslims who are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to meet their essential needs.
Our application process is simple and confidential. Take the first step towards relief today by starting your application below.
1. Submit Application
An individual undergoing financial hardship contacts National Zakat Foundation by applying for Zakat.
2. Application Assessment
Intake team requests the client for identification, financial information and other relevant documents.
3. Application Decision
The Assigned caseworker and an expert panel analyzes applicant needs and Zakat eligibility in accordance with our guidelines based on the Quran and Sunnah.
4. Inform Applicant of Results
Applicant is informed of results and receives Zakat payment and/or is connected to relevant resources for further support
