Give From What
You Love

“You will not attain righteousness until you give from what you love.”
Surah Al-Imran (3:92)

Zakat is more than an obligation; it is an honour – one of the ways He extends His mercy and favour upon us and one of the many ways we seek His pleasure.

This Ramadan, give from what you love to those closest to you.

Do You Know?

Right now, more than 3,000 neighbours are waiting for help.

For them, Ramadan is when hope feels closest. Hands are raised in tahajjud, at iftar, after taraweeh, quietly asking for relief.

They aren’t overseas or somewhere far beyond reach. They live beside you, attend the same schools, and live in the same communities you call home.

They are single mothers, seniors, refugees, newcomers, orphans, and more. They are your neighbours.

This Ramadan, give from what you love to those closest to home.

Ways To Give

Meet Hassan

Hassan arrived in Canada with his family carrying only a single backpack and the weight of uncertainty. He, his wife, and their three young children were placed in a hotel, sharing one small room. Life was difficult—there wasn’t enough space, the food provided wasn’t halal, and most days the family survived on bread alone.

With Ramadan approaching, Hassan worried deeply for his wife and daughters, who would be fasting.

"I cannot describe the feeling of watching my growing children survive on bread alone. Ramadan was drawing closer, and I felt desperate. I reached out to NZF. When we received warm winter clothes and halal food, my wife and I were overcome with gratitude for Zakat and what it can do for us."

You provided comfort, essentials, and hope, turning your blessings into mercy and care for a family in need.
